How to stab yourself in the hand with crochet hooks:
Rerooting for fun and profit

Rerooting is only an option on rooted girls. Have you checked your girl yet?

Rerooting on Pullips is, quite frankly, a bitch. Unlike Blythes, with their pliable soft plastic scalps, Pullip scalps are hard plastic and rigid. Petite Blythe scalps are the closest comparison.

Puchimadam has an excellent tutorial on rerooting a large scalp, so I won't duplicate it here. If you'd like to attempt it, bear in mind these special Pullip precautions: Pullip holes are much smaller than Blythe holes, so you'd do better using size 13/14 crochet hooks. Pullip holes are also a bit messier, and again, you can't turn the scalp inside-out, due to its inflexibility.
